It’s an interesting match-up. Lakers’ Ariza against his old team. Odom against his old coach SVG. As the 3rd Quarter Collapse said, the Magic’s depth is better. I honestly still believe that Gasol and Odom are softer than they supposedly are. The only way the Lakers are “tougher” is that they have more solid big men in Gasol, Odom, and Bynum. The Magic only have Howard and Gortat (who isn’t that big). The Lakers took 7 games to beat a Yao-less Rockets as the Magic took 7 games to beat a Garnett-less Celtics. So I don’t believe either team has had a better preparation through their respective playoff series.
