The 2010 FIFA World Cup will officially commence at 8pm local time (GMT +2). That’s 7pm in London, 2pm in New York and 3am in Tokyo.

The song was co-written and will be performed by Shakira. Accompanying Shakira will be South African band, Freshly Ground. The song is expected to captivate audiences around the world with its vivacity and catchy tune.

Performers also expected to make an appearance are Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, Hugh Masakela, John Legend, Soweto Gospel Choir and Angelique Kidjo. There is no doubt that millions of people will be waiting in anticipation.
